We collect as little as the work needs, and we say what happens to it.

Who we are
Saifer is an IT and identity consultancy based in London, United Kingdom. For anything on this page, write to hello@saifer.co.uk.
What we collect when you get in touch
When you email us or book a call, we receive your name, your email address, your company and whatever you tell us about your setup. We use it to reply, to prepare for the call and, if we go on to work together, to do the work. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone else, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Bookings run through Cal.com and email runs through Google Workspace. Each handles your details under its own privacy policy.
What happens during a project
To do the work you may give us administrator access to your systems. What we may do with that access is set out in the written agreement we sign before any work starts, and that agreement comes first. In short: we use named accounts, we only take the access the job needs, we don’t copy your data beyond what the work requires, and our access is removed or reduced when the work is done.
This website
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us. The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for security.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept while we’re talking and for up to a year afterwards, then deleted. Records of paid work are kept for six years, which is what UK tax rules require, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we’ll answer within a month. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
