About Saifer
Saifer is a small IT and identity consultancy in London. We set up the systems growing companies run on, then hand them over so they run without us.

Where we learned it
Most people in IT have seen one kind of company. Between us we ran IT in big tech, martech, finance, small companies and AI startups, and each taught us something you can use.
Big tech
Enterprise IT at Meta showed us what good looks like when it’s done at scale: identity as the source of truth, devices managed from day one, nothing left to memory.
Martech and finance
Leading IT at a fast-growing martech company, and running IT in finance, showed us what good controls look like when they’re done well, and where even good ones have flaws, the same as we saw at enterprise scale. It also showed us what breaks when a company grows quickly, and what an auditor or insurer actually asks to see.
Small companies and AI startups
Looking after companies where one person owns everything is where we learned to be practical and to fix the thing that matters, not the thing that’s interesting.
What that means for you
We know which big-company habits are worth copying at 40 people and which are expensive theatre. You get the first kind, set up right the first time, without learning it the hard way.
What we work with
We’re not tied to any vendor. We’ll recommend the setup that fits you, which is often what you already pay for. These are the tools we know best and have the most experience with.
Most of our work is on Macs, and we’ve managed a lot of them. One of us has also run Windows fleets with Intune and Microsoft 365, so a mixed company isn’t a problem.
- Okta
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft 365

The name
Saifer is said like safer, and that’s the whole idea.
A safer company
Better IT controls make your company safer: who can get in, what they can reach, and what happens when they leave.
A safer way to get there
We’ve seen a business at every size and in several industries, so we know what a good setup looks like, what a bad one looks like, and which pitfalls to walk around. You get the best of all of it, fitted to your size, done right the first time, with the upkeep you don’t have to think about.
And later
When you outgrow something one day, we’ll help you move. If you already know what works for you, we’ll set that up instead. Either way works.
How we work
Fixed price, agreed up front
You know the cost before anything starts. If it takes us longer, that’s on us.
Build only what you need
Startups shouldn’t buy Okta just because big companies use it. Sometimes the right answer is a setting you already have.
Scheduled, not on-call
Changes happen in agreed windows, with a plan and a way back. We don’t run a help desk, so each project gets proper attention.
Set up once, then handed over
Everything is documented in plain English and owned by your team. The goal is that you don’t need us afterwards.
Honest about fit
If we’re not the right people, we’ll say so on the first call.
Your data stays yours
We never reuse one client’s setup, documents or data for another.
If IT has become someone’s side job, tell us what prompted it.
